Eli Stone (Pilot and 2nd Episode)

Sorry, I've been busy and haven't had time to watch anything this week- so I am blogging the pilot and first epsiode together- I have no idea how the show was received by the general public or the media, but I was looking forward to it.

It's a little slow getting started, but obviously has a cute-ish theme- we find out he lost his virginity to a George Michael song to a girl who is now asking him for legal help because a vaccine harmed her son (not his son, btw).

He has these visions and goes to a chinese acupuncturist and slowly gets memories back... it's still a lil slow... but I like that George Michael is randomly making some sort of a comeback (admit it, we all perk up when we hear his music- his songs just have that effect!)

Anyway, he wins the legal case and then finds out his visions are caused by a hereditary aneurism that he has, that his dad also had, and then his mom gives him his dad's ashes and tells him his dad wanted him to have them and that he would know what to do with them- so he goes hiking up a mountain in the Himalayas with sherpas to scatter his dad's ashes. Oh, and Dr. Chen thinks he might be a prophet- and that's what the real meaning is behind his visions...

Jury's still out for me- here's the second episode:
He comes back from his trip to dispose of his dad's ashes and hears a choir- which turns out is singing George Michael's 'Freedom'...

I will keep watching, but I haven't been blown away by this show... thank god the writer's go back to work on Wednesday!!!
