Samantha Who

Samantha finds out you can't put metal in a microwave and also, that she is allergic to oregano (and now her tongue is swollen). Turns out she can't really cook at all either!

At the bar with Andrea and Dina, they are talking and come up with maybe Samantha should go to Andrea's hypnotherapist who is helping her remember the phone number of a guy she met, maybe they can help Samantha remember things too.

3, 2, 1. Open your eyes.
Samantha does and remembers... she's adopted! And that her birth parents gave her a heart shaped necklace. And she used to smoke.

She is elated, because that means her parents aren't her biological parents, but she wants to ask them where her real parents are.

When she confronts them, they burst out laughing and said it wasn't true.
They don't have her birth certificate though, and since she was born internationally, she can't order a new copy of it either.
But she looks in her old hiding place where she used to hide cigarettes and finds the necklace.
Samantha has a huge fight with her parents, because she feels she can't trust them to help her know who she is if they won't tell her the truth, and leaves.

Unfortunately, Andrea doesn't let her stay with her (because she thinks grown-ups are supposed to take care of themselves...)
So she goes to her ex's apartment (Tod) and stays there. She also finds out that his apartment is actually hers- she bought it and owns it. Then they fight because she moved out when she first woke up from the coma (and he never mentioned that she owned it because she never asked) and then she throws him out. (She wants to live in a liar free zone)

After another session at the hypnotherapists, she realizes she is remembering 'Annie' when she played the part in a play and that's why she thinks she's adopted....

AUGH! Her apartment is 11D!!!
That only matters to me, but AUGH!

Samantha's mom shows up at her apartment with food, and to talk. Her mom didn't want her to go to the therapist because she didn't want Samantha to remember the bad times she had with her mother, and decide not to be a part of her life. They reconcile, and she also remembers the phone number of the guy Andrea was looking for!

Frank the doorman is really funny.
The only plus that came from the therapist was that Samantha isn't afraid of elevators any more!!!
