Ugly Betty

Last week left us hanging...

Monique guests as the night security- she is so funny.

Betty was fired because she hid the truth about Wilhemina cheating on his dad, and goes to clean out her desk. There's this weird scene where Betty meets Betty-from-the-past-on-her-first-day, and it's just odd.

Then, to make it weirder, Daniel's mom pops out of Betty's closet at her house (with her sidekick from prison) and asks Betty for a favor- to make sure Bradford hasn't changed his will to include Wilhemina instead of Alexis and Daniel. She wants to make sure her kids are taken care of so she can leave the country.

"Sweet like sugar, soft like suede, but unlike a piano, I never get played"
Henry sweet talks Lamanda (Monique's character) so Betty can sneak past the front desk and look for the will (she isn't allowed into the office because she got fired...)
Unfortunately, Wilhemina and Marc make it there first, and Betty and Henry have to scramble to make an excuse for why they are there (the best both sides come up with is they are looking for mementos to remember Bradford)
Betty cracks and admits she knows the will is in the wall safe and has the combination, and they agree to read the will and go on their own ways.
Unfortunately again, the safe is empty.
At the same time Marc and Betty realize it must be in the secret sex room, and Marc pushes Betty's glasses off her face, and then does the same to Henry and he and Wilhemina lock them in the office and run out.

While this is going on, Ignacio and Hilda discover Claire Meade and her cell mate hiding in Betty's room and after hearing their plan to leave the country, Hilda agrees to give Claire a makeover so she looks like her fake passport.

Marc and Wilhemina find the will, but it says she only gets half of his estate UPON THE PRONOUNCEMENT OF THEIR MARRIAGE and since the wedding never got pronounced...
Betty and Henry crawl through the heating ducts to try to get to the secret room, but miscalculate and Henry lands right behind Lamanda...

Bradford wakes up from his coma, and Daniel finally gets the chance to tell his dad how much he loves him, but chickens out...

I won't write about the rest of the episode- you need to watch it.
Awesome music at the end- U2
